Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who sent cards, presents, SMS, emails, rang and posted on my FB wall. I had a lovely day yesterday and don’t feel any different now that I’m 40 and officially over the hill LOL. I got totally spoiled with presents, and love them all !

I know, I’m so original lol, but I really really wanted to release a birthday collection this week. My previous birthday kit has been retired for ages, so it was about time I did another one !

Cake and presents started out being a remake of my Birthday Boy kit from years ago, but as with all my kits, it took on a life of its own, and ended up nothing like the original. New colours, new papers and patterns, new elements. There are only a couple of original elements included, and even these have been totally redone.

I’m working on 2 new sets of (CU) Paper Makers, using both the leaves and flower templates and some other shapes – hopefully I’ll have those ready next week.

Lastly, I promised Melissa a tutorial on how to turn a straight item into a circle – its relatively easy, and quite a simple tut, I’ve just been swamped since I promised it ! I’ll try try try to get it done over the weekend for you Melissa
